    Draper and Kramer Incorporated is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for a luxury high-rise condominium. The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations, maintenance, employee management and communications. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in office management/administration or project management. The Operations Manager's role is to work with the Property Manager and Ownership in the general administration of the property and perform all related operational administrative and accounting functions to ensure operational excellence.


    • Responsible for the supervision of building staff and payroll processing.
    • Assist with accounts payable/receivable, and vendor relations. 
    • Provide outstanding customer service for all residents; develop and maintain open lines of communications. 
    • Prepare resident correspondence, warning letters, flood notices, etc. Review daily logs and incidents reports. 
    • Prepare Monthly Association Newsletter, weekly electronic communications.
    • Coordinate window/curtainwall maintenance: schedule inspections, repairs and replacements; maintain inventory.
    • Assist in technology upgrades and other efforts to implement new system, methods and procedures. 
    • Responsible for overseeing remodeling projects, telephone and cable riser maintenance and repairs. 
    • Attends Board/Committee meetings (after hours).Assists with Report Preparation. Serve as Staff Liaison to Committee. 
    • Develop and implement procedures.
    • Conducts Property inspections
    • Assist with and Coordinate Special Projects and Capital Improvements. Other duties as assigned


    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in management
    • Capital Project Management or Systems Implementation experience a plus
    • Experience developing policies and procedure manuals, a plus
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel (MSWord, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Access)
    • Yardi, Ceridian, PayScan and/or BuildingLink experience a plus
    • IL-CAM license required
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be a self-starter and able to multi-task and have the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
    • Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
